Eviction and Utility Shut Off Prevention

In an effort to help keep people in their homes Emergency Services has limited funds available to provide up to the last $200 to prevent evictions and utility shut offs.  To find out how to apply for these funds call our Emergency Services office at 206-365-8043.

Baby Cupboard

Baby Cupboard is open during the first Saturday of the month during regular Food Bank hours for families with children 5 years of age or younger. Infant and toddler food and formula, diapers and child care items as available, are provided to assist with meeting the extra needs of caring for young children. Basic monthly supplies may be received through the Emergency Services Office if Baby Cupboard is missed.

Hygiene Supplies

SNAP benefits do not include basic personal items such as soap or shampoo. To meet this need we distribute hygiene packs.  Clients are eligible for a hygiene pack every 90 days. The hygiene pack includes: soap, tooth brush, tooth paste, razor, deodorant, floss, shampoo and other items that are donated.  We also have homeless hygiene packs with travel size items. Homeless clients are eligible for homeless hygiene packs every 30 days. Toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, and laundry soap is also available when we have it on hand.

Referral Services

Our Emergency Services volunteers work to stay current on other organizations’ resources in the community and make referrals when possible.

nh_wintertimeservicesWhen available we distribute jackets, hoodies, blankets, socks, gloves and hats. We also partner with other local organizations to provide holiday meals and gifts.  Please visit the Emergency Services office for more information.
