Jenn is often the first person to greet visitors at North Helpline, either from an open window near her desk or those walking in the door.

“Folks come to me for everything,” she said, from clothes for a job interview, services for an autistic child, a tent, or where to get medical services. 

Jenn speaks Kiani and Nakota, skills she’s used to connect with clients who tell her “it’s really nice to see another friendly face.”

She said the way she was raised — to be of service to people and lift them up — influences how she tries to provide service to clients. “It’s more than a job. It’s kind of a calling. I just really love being able to help people.”
